Data Participation Agreement

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between House Report LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Platform"), and the undersigned inspection company or affiliate partner ("Participant").

1. Data Submission

Participant agrees to provide inspection data to the Platform through one or more of the following methods:

  • Direct PDF upload via the Platform dashboard
  • Automated sync from Participant's inspection software (e.g., Spectora, ISN)
  • Bulk file transfer (e.g., Dropbox, Google Drive)

Participant represents that it has obtained or will obtain written consent from its clients to share anonymized inspection data with third-party property intelligence platforms, as described in the client-facing Data Sharing Clause provided by the Platform.

2. How Data Will Be Used

The Platform will use submitted inspection data solely for the following purposes:

  1. Generating summarized property condition reports accessible to homebuyers, sellers, and real estate professionals via the Platform website and authorized integrations.
  2. Calculating property condition scores based on aggregated inspection findings.
  3. Building anonymized, aggregated datasets for neighborhood-level and market-level property condition analysis.

3. Data Use Restrictions

The Platform expressly agrees that it will NOT:

  1. Sell, license, or share inspection data with contractors, vendors, home service providers, or concierge service companies for the purpose of marketing or solicitation.
  2. Provide any third party with the full text of any inspection report.
  3. Share any personally identifiable information about the Participant's clients (buyers or sellers).
  4. Use inspection data in any way that competes with or interferes with the Participant's existing vendor, concierge, or referral relationships.
  5. Contact the Participant's clients directly for any commercial purpose.

4. Revenue Sharing

  1. Inspector Royalty. Inspectors will receive twenty percent (20%) of net revenue from each paid property report that includes data from one or more of their inspections. As of the date of this Agreement, the consumer report price is $29.00, yielding a royalty of $5.80 per report.
  2. Affiliate Commission. Affiliate partners will receive ten percent (10%) of net revenue from purchases made through their unique referral link.
  3. Payment. Royalties and commissions are paid via Stripe Connect. Participant is responsible for setting up and maintaining a valid Stripe account. Payments are processed automatically upon completion of each qualifying transaction.
  4. Price Changes. Platform reserves the right to adjust report pricing. Participant will be notified of any price changes at least thirty (30) days in advance. Royalty and commission percentages remain fixed unless mutually agreed in writing.

5. Lead Generation (Opt-In)

  1. Participant may opt in to appear on property reports as a recommended inspector for new inspections. This includes display of company name, logo, and a link to Participant's website or booking page.
  2. Placement priority defaults to the most recent inspector for that property. Premium placement options may be available for an additional fee.
  3. Participant may opt out of lead generation at any time through the Platform dashboard without affecting royalty payments or other terms of this Agreement.

6. Data Ownership and Control

  1. Participant retains ownership of the original inspection reports and all underlying data.
  2. The Platform retains ownership of any derived products, including but not limited to property condition scores, AI-generated summaries, and aggregated analytics.
  3. Participant may request removal of all their data from the Platform at any time by providing written notice. The Platform will complete removal within thirty (30) business days of receiving such notice.
  4. Upon data removal, Participant forfeits future royalties on reports that no longer contain their data, but retains any royalties already earned.

7. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep confidential any proprietary business information disclosed by the other party in connection with this Agreement, including but not limited to pricing, technology, client lists, and business strategies.

8. Term and Termination

  1. This Agreement is effective upon execution and continues until terminated by either party.
  2. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with thirty (30) days written notice.
  3. Upon termination, Participant may request data removal per Section 6(c). If no removal is requested, data will remain on the Platform and royalties will continue to accrue.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform provides no guarantee of revenue, lead volume, or report purchases. Participation is voluntary and at Participant's own discretion.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
